How you can Help?
The financial burden of treatment for those with chronic PTSD costs on average $11,000-$19,000 per year, with the majority of these other treatments being ineffective in significantly increasing a persons quality of life.
However, our solution is on average just $2500 for one person to get treated and be alienated from a lifetime of trauma and PTSD symptoms. So, if you feel it’s unjust for those with PTSD not to have access to the care they need and deserve, you can change that!
What will my donation cover?
Erase PTSD Now has hand-selected partnerships with clinics and practitioners who specialize in clinically proven modalities to treat the biological components of PTSD. Right now, our primary clinical partnership is with Stella Center who provides patient care, coordination, and treatment for PTSD through a dual sympathetic reset at one of 40+ locations across the United States. We also cover travel expenses associated with treatment when patients need it.
What is it like to have PTSD?
For many of our patients with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, living with an invisible injury to their nervous system that hijacks reactions to everyday life is a huge strain and isolating. Every moment there’s a possibility of getting so triggered that they cannot calm down and even become so unstable they cause trauma to those around them. It’s a life without the ability to return to homeostasis or find a rhythm. It’s consistent internal chaos that leaks out, and together we can do something about it.
What is a dual sympathetic reset?
The DSR is an adapted stellate ganglion block, which has been used for a variety of nervous system dysfunctions since 1925. We are thrilled to bring the innovation of the procedure for PTSD to patients who need it most. In the near future, we hope to expand our treatment sponsorships into other modalities.
Who is your typical patient?
The typical Erase PTSD patient is someone who fights the evils of this world, and/or were the victims of those evils. They live in a society that doesn’t recognize or offer treatment for their invisible injury as they would with a broken bone, so they are often on their own to cover the cost to heal. We find that appalling and refuse to forget the vulnerable or those who have sacrificed for our safety.
